Could be but I thought it was a 03 RK. If I remember correctly, the 03 Anniversary Road King had leather bags and looked very much like the Heritage.

It has a Springer front end.

Did you happen to see who was riding it? Would be interesting to know their reason/thought behind doing the bike that way. :nixweiss:

I was at a bar all afternoon watching NFL games, having a beer (or 2) and trying to warm up from riding all morning in 30 degrees. This bar is next door to Bumpus Harley Davidson, so it is a sports/biker bar. It is not unusual this time of year to see a full parking lot of bikes with everyone inside to get out of the cold (not me as I have heated everything) and away from the wife (er uhhh, that be me). I went outside to smoke a cigar (Christmas gift) and could not help but notice this strange bike, not a rat bike at all as it was in very good condition and very clean. Took the pictures with my phone, I wish I'd had a camera with me to take a decent picture, someone put a tremendous amount of time on this "art". Anyway flash forward, I was getting on my bike to leave and a guy came over to me to ask about the Motolights. We talked for quite awhile, he asked a lot of questions about the Nana. He was a young, (mid-thirties, that's young to me) clean cut, very personable and a very nice guy.
I put on my helmet to leave and he walked over to get on his bike, IT WAS THE BIKE PICTURED ABOVE! I was completely shocked, talk about not jumping to conclusions.
