My wife has slept on back for years.  She denied it for a long time, but finally fessed up.  I can always tell by the way she is breathing when she is sleeping.  She leans back on the wrap-around backrest on the TP and can sleep as long as I am leaning back against her.

My wife is the best passenger I have ever had on the back of a bike.  I told her when she started riding behind me to "always stay behind me", so she never leans when she shouldn't - never squirms around - and best of all, never tells me how I should be riding.  She can even get on the bike without me hardly knowing when she does.

She is also a pretty fair photographer from the back seat also.

Suzanne falls asleep all the time on the back of the SEUC...thank the lord it has the arm rests...she lays back, so she doesn't bonk me with the helmet, though she did on the way to Hot Springs once.  She kinda wedges herself in back there with her elbows and hands.

I can monitor her sleeping by noticing the volume level on the rear headsets... ;)

Lisa falls asleep on the RK as well as the SEUC.  Never bothers her - she misses so much scenery.....

Same thing - she turns the volume down when napping.

Looks like an opportunity to take twenty winks was just past or is just coming up. We usually pull over at a rest stop to get the heavy eye syndrome taken care of .

Me & my Mrs. have taken several naps in the shade while laying on a concrete picnic table in a park or rest area.  The concrete is a little rough on the old bones, but a nap in the shade with a cool breeze after a few hundred miles on a hot day......can't beat it. :2vrolijk_21:

(not sure I am ready to lay down on the shoulder of the road though :o)

Will have had mine for 30 years in May.  Don't get in a hurry......find a good one that you can keep forever.  Makes life a lot less stressful  ;)
