And JC, you took the words right out of my mouth. You never told me all I had to do was blast past the guards! That would have been both easy and fun! Maybe JC and Ernie needed to be with us. Did Andy and Duke know this? Or are they not as wreckloose as us! ::) ;D ;)

17 Mile Drive is an absolutely beautiful stretch of road and is private.  It is a major tourist attraction since it's on the ocean and includes places like Pebble Beach, Spanish Bay, mega-million dollar mansions, etc.  They charge for cars to take the drive, and apparently the locals didn't appreciate the noise from the HD's and the antics of the crotch rockets so they banned them.  Being a private road they can do that. 

We rolled up on the bikes, the guards came out to stop us, but we just rolled through and ignored them.

Thanks again, it looks and sounds like good times!! Need to find the wife a job on the left coast - I could certainly deal with that year round!!  :2vrolijk_21:

Howie--- Ernies friend is a vip that has a club membership and if we had stoped he most certainly could have continued. He also maybe have gotten us all in but why chance it. Rolling thru with the gaurd saying HEY<Stop,Wait ,Hey, as we blew by was great. JC< ERNIE AND I ride a lot together and if there,s a crack in the door we ,re thru --------Haveing the back up VIP helped in that instance. O well no shots were fired and that was a great ride-AK
