I had the dealer install mine, but I think I'll get some chrome braid to cover the wires. Sounds like a good idea.

What did you do with your wires. Did you drill through the front cover or what?

I purchased the touring model 08 guide. It shows me how to put them and aim the lights. I am looking for a way to hide the wire. The way they come out the back of the bracket however makes it kind of difficult. I have the system that mounts to the fork without the center bar. I will see what the weather looks like this weekend and give it try.

Before I get started, do you have to mess with the wiring inside the handle bars what so ever?
