In essence, the same thing as the Stabo bushings, trying to stop the side to side movement of the tranny. You can accomplish the same thing by jamming pieces of wood between the tranny and the frame, thereby locking the tranny in the middle. That's all any of these devices try to do, keep the tranny from moving side to side.

For a steel shaft, two bushings, and two nuts, I'd say so.  :o  I guess they're trying to recoup all their development costs right up front.   :nixweiss:  Add about two hours of labor, if you can't install it yourself and with tax, you're looking at almost $600 for that.

Chuck,
Why don't you package two pieces of "HD-approved" (painted black and orange) wood in a bubble pack and sell it for $150.00?   :huepfenlol2:

Hmmmmmmm. Something to think about. ;D

But seriously, that is what all of these devices do. Their ads and websites talk about all these terrible things they 'cure', but they are pretty vague on how their device actually does it. They let the reader formulate an opinion on how they work and let their minds wander.

I don't blame anyone for thinking these devices do more then they actually do, because it's not put out there in plain english exactly what the are doing. I'm not saying they are being deceptive, just vague.

I think they went to the P.T. Barnum School of Business and firmly believe that there's enough suckers out there to pay that outrageous price.
