Haven't done anything to the bike lately...took a couple of rides in the past month on Wanda June, and to work and back one day on the V.  It's been cold down here lately, and damp.  Won't be long 'till it's back in the 60's though.

Parts in the basement waiting:  spare set of jugs and heads; TP rocker boxes and arms; GP bearing; StaBo bushings; billet push rod covers and lifter block covers; probably forgetting something, but no funds this year for any major projects, so I'm just riding the beautch this year.

I took the V-Rod for a short spin. Was airish to say the least. Didn't ride far, came back home and got the bagger out. NIGHT and day difference o ride comfort. Was somewhat airsih, but not bad if dressed for it. I headed down this country road I live on and didn't wanna stop. Got the end and didn't have way to go, so, I went North at 95 MPH, oh, and 110 some too. Had the Zumo on, just to get used to the MP3 player. ZZTopp, Lynard, Mayall, and George Thoroughgood jamming. Rode about 100 miles or so. That's got to be as much fun as a guy can have with his clothes on.

Stopped by Big Ed's. He's looking for a SE Road Glide. I wasn't sure if Trish was gonna let him get another bike or not. I'll believe it when I see it. He's ready to BBQ more ribs for the HB BBQ this may.

Today....I took the CUSE to Stuart dealer to check some issues  (the 2-year warranty expire at the end of the month) and I picked the Springer up. They installed the Wild1 565 bars......I liked it :2vrolijk_21:.....Rode around 200 miles today.......72 degrees......

This topic has drifted in and out of topic so I hope nobody minds if I respond to Gary's off topic post.

Gary,
What is Rolling Thunder about ?  I seem to recall it had something to do with support for Nam Vets and a run to the wall. Can you explain more please ?  Also, with the numbers of dead and wounded climbing daily in the Middle East, does this run also support them

Thanks

I'm not Gary, but Rolling Thunder is a very political organization and is also a very political rally http://www.rollingthundermotorcyclerally.com/

"The major function of Rolling Thunder®, Inc. is to publicize POW-MIA issues: To educate the public that many American prisoners of war were left behind after all previous wars and to help correct the past and to protect future veterans from being left behind should they become prisoners of war-missing in action.

We are also committed to helping American veterans from all wars.

Rolling Thunder®, Inc. is a non-profit organization. Members donate their time because they believe in the issues we are working on."

BBQ here either the 24th or memorial weekend. I'm leaning towards the latter.
