No kidding, me either.  I was thinking Fred Thompson was going to be the best option and then he up and quits.  I think Ron Paul has some good ideas on fiscal issues, but that's about it for him (he seems a little wacko to me too).  McCain and Gulianni are waaaay too liberal for me.
Then the other two have done the flip-flop thing on different issues.  It's a little hard to get excited about what a candidate is saying during the campaign when you know what they are saying is contradictory to what they have done in the past :nixweiss:

Romney, Huckaby, Gulianni, or McCain..... IMO, would be better than Hillary, Obama, or Edwards

Overall the field is pretty lack luster. I liked Thompson the best, but....oh well. I like McCain the least of the bunch...too bad the Media is forcing him on us best they can.

I guess if I had to pick one, it would have to be Romney. In tough economic times I'd like to have someone that actually had to make a payroll, not someone that hands out other peoples money.

If your trying to decide who best represents your political beliefs, answer the multiple choice questions on major political issues at Candidate Match Survey and it will show you in % pts how close each Candidate represents your beliefs. very cool, just for the record, I was most agreeable with Mike Huckabee, at 80%

After I took the survey, it told me I should move to Canada.

As expected the survey gave me Romney as the top choice. What was a hoot was that McCain was at the bottom of the R's and wasn't much higher than Obama who was at the top of the D's.

I was also surprised with some of my results, you think you know a candidate until you see the results  :confused5:

Do we really need a president?  Rumor has it that the last several years of the Reagan administration, nobody was home.
