New AR-15 assault rifles for the department $1,000.00 each.

Training time $1,000.00 per officer.

Picture on front page of the local paper with the officer standing in full view and not using any cover.....and with the gun magazine in backwards!!!!

it would, but the funny thing is that you see the rounds in the top of the mag...and would have to put the primer ends forward. 

It's not like you can't see the rounds.  I am guessing she doesn't even have a round in the chamber, unless it was loaded already??  There is no way a round would feed and have the bolt go home...so she is pointing an unloaded weapon, and is not behind cover.

Scary - that stuff should be automatic to a person authorized to carry a weapon like that.

To drop bucks on a  ar15 and not put some optics on it, sheesh...
My life does not depend on mine, but I like to hit what I aim it at...

Call me paranoid but I even have a paralax view on my M4 master key...

that is fact, prior to deploying last year I got to do the pre-deployment shoots with the optics (ACOG)...HOLY CRAP, full body armor/SAPI with goggles etc and you can put the chevron on the point of impact and know you are hitting there. 

I had a blast, not even an M4, was shooting the A4.

Hell even and Air Farce hack like you could put rounds on target... :coolblue:

Rock Rivers are nice, I used one with the fun switch at an open shoot ...
I am a snob and put a S&WAR15 in the safe, it is not quite tacti-cool but I don't worry about hogs, squirrels, armadillos shooting back at me either...

The Benelli M4 is the house gun, if I can't kill the zombies with 8 rounds of "pit bull" I'm screwed.  It is the ferrari of scatterguns, a joy to shoot...I am gonna go clay shootin out in Okeechobee next weekend barring Hurrican Gustavo and the cone of horrification...I hate this time of year down here...

While I'd like to agree with your statements about the cop, it's 2 magazines ready for flipping and there are optics on top.  It's too long to be a 20 rndr and too short to be a 30 rndr.  You can see the top (bottom) of the inverted mag when you enlarge the shot.  The optics aren't clear, but there definitely are some.

yeah, blew it up and magnified it, I see optics...but not sure I agree with the magazine flip. 

I cannot see the left magazine that would be pointing forward.
