Duane, Great Idea! I too would buy one or two of these and hang them in the shop. The when members come visit i'll have them sign thier plate. :2vrolijk_21:

My plate "05 HDCVO" is there twice, one of the actual and another of the plate when i ordered it from the DMV site. Is the actual pic goo enough quality or would you like a better shot?

Thanks for putting this together.

Why is this topic in a Group Buy?  Duane, are you charging?  I'm off to the garage to see if I can get a good one of Jamey's new tag for his bike.

It has been moved to "Other" Candy.
No I am not charging.

Just playing around.
When I am done it will be up to you to have the poster made. Unless of course you can't get it done, and then I would be happy to assist you for tthe costly sum of a  :drink:

Lets see if I can remember how to get pics from camera onto computer.  You know it is not like riding a bicycle.  :huepfenlol2:

Candy - "digital" wise the picture is big enough, but it is too blurry - take a couple more of both bikes.
Email them to me if you are more comfortable with that.

Jim, I could use a higher resolution pic, maybe without and without the lights. With the lights on it may not give the plate the best exposure.

Hey all

remember, when you take your pictures

High resolution
sharp focus
fairly straight
Camera perpendicular to the plate
try it with and without flash
don't get too close with a wide angle, the lens will tend to distort the picture

Leave a little around the outside so I can fine tune the size.

Send it to my email if you would rather not post it here.

In a couple of days I'll post a list of "good" pics I have in the first post of this thread.

Let others know we are doing this so everyone can be part of it.

And .......... don't look for this anytime too soon. I expect it to take awhile to get all the pics together.

Cool idea Duane!  I want one.

I was going to get a pic of my tag Saturday, but it was 70'ish degrees and the bike was calling my name....rode until dark.  Was too busy yesterday, so I will try to get a pic this evening.
