Question: We all know HD is from the Wisconsin - so then, why are H-D, Harley-Davidson, and Harley-Davidson Logos -  registered trademarks of H-D Michigan, Inc. - What is the tie with Michigan?

Oops, your right, I owe you a beer. I would only bet when a 83 FXR showed up in the parking lot so I could prove it. The FLT's were kind of like orphans back then and rare on the showroom floor and on the road. They did morph into the beautiful FLT's we have today though (I'm biased).

and testing facilities, machinery and equipment in Milwaukee and Tomahawk,
Wisconsin, York, Pennsylvania, and Talladega, Alabama, and substantially 
all of the employees of the Motorcycle Division have been transferred to
