Spoke with Baker also.  Rep there also said a little tweaking would be necessary for install on a bike with a hydraulic cluctch.  It also was quoted a bit more expensive than the others.

In the end it looked as if they all would do the job I needed.  Some might even do significantly more than I needed (which really didn't matter).  One did what I needed with the simplest installation though.  So I got that one :nixweiss: .

Oops, I misread Don, sorry. I just saw you ordered a Scorpion. I thought you were also looking at that. Never mind my previous post! ::) ;D

No sweat.  A little more info is never a bad thing.  Never know when it might be needed.

If the Riveras didn't have the installation issue with the hydraulic clutch I'd have gone there.  Have used them previously also to very good effect.  But not only do you have to rework part of the OE mechanism Rivera can't/won't tell you exactly how much to take off.  Will only say "until it's right."  Humbug.

That is right Don. I posted a set of pisc a while back on how to measure the clutch throw and how to determine how much to cut off the end of the rod. Also dont forget to heat the tip of the rod and dip it into some oil.

It was time consuming but that clutch sure is sweet.

Hopefully this new Barnett clutch that's been released specifically for bike with hydraulic clutch both eliminates all that dinking around and does a good job at the same time.  Guess I'm guinea pigging a product again.  Hopefully the report will be good.

Should know sooner rather than later.   Golden will be back from Daytona in a couple weeks and after that I'll visit him again.  If the new isn't going to hold up we'll hopefully know it then.

It's not just the easy way right now though.  Someday later it'll need another clutch for me or someone.  Unexpected surprises from ground off parts that were never part of anyone else's planned equation are just never fun.

The other additions all actually can just be unplugged.  Went to a little more effort in a few places to make them that way.  Harder to "ungrind" an actuating pushrod.  The engineer in me likes things that just fit :mango: .

Those pushrods are fairly cheap Don. If memory serves you can buy the bearing, circlip and pushrod for around $30.
