Debated on putting this on because of the molded clutch cable look v/s our hyd clutch line. Looks good though. Can't do it because I have the right side push rod cover on and they say they can't be used together. Will wait till next year when they mayby come out with the right interface for hyd clutch configurations.

You have the 6 speed tranny, is that the cover you are referring too? You still the hydraulic , correct?

Maybe next year, the 6-speed and sprocket change is on my list.

Well I made the mistake of going for more....After seeing how well the tranny interface cover looked, I was informed that the Oil Filler Spout Cover #66133-99 would work too.

As least in my case, that is not true...there is a top piece on the oil line that prevents the cover from being assembled.

Of course I have always stated I am not the shapest tool in the shed.

Jock - You may want to look at HD Dhrome Oil Filler Spout Part #62470-02 which is not a cover but a chrome replacement for the stock part.  Getting ready to install on my SEEG will let you know if there are any problems.  Only difficulty I see so far is that I may have to drop the exhust pipes to get to the bolts.

That part number you listed is for 99-01 touring models.

I am going to change the oil line too. The tranny cover covers all of the "chrome" portion of the factory line, and leaves exposed the crummy rubber part.

Amazing what we will go through for these machines.

That's for sure Jock.  If you look up "demented" in the dictionary I bet it reads "Harley Davidson motorcycle owner."

It's amazing to me, I never cared so much for a bike then the last two I have purchased.

Sometimes, I just need a means of enjoyment and transportation on two wheels that does not require all of the other stuff....

I am starting to think the Fatboy will become that bike, however I have so much invested into this one too.

Jock - Spent this evening tearing the bike apart to get that dam little piece of chrome on!  To get the pipes loose had to remove the lower on the right side, then the chrome shield so's not to scratch, then the passenger foot rest was in the way, etc. etc. etc.  Will put togeather tomorrow along with a new filter and fluids.  After a good cleaning will be ready for the Valley.  Also installing the full chrome vent pipe while I'm at it.

Hey Johnny, would you have the part number for the full chrome vent pipe handy?

Much appreciated if you do.
