It is indeed running down from the top - wrapped the fork leg in tissue and now know that it's coming down in a tiny stream at the back, under the upper fork slider cover, and running round the fender tab on to that bolt.

No pooling in the triple tree recess - I'd looked at that already.

I thought it must be the fork seal, (since it's under the slider cover) but now you have me thinking..... I best have the fairing off to look. How did you cure it, just tighten the cap?

Jim, the best cure for that pesky problem is a set of Traxxion AK-20 cartridges. New seals come with the cartridges. ;D

          Me again, hopefully you should find lose cap at the top of the fork leg, if you find it to be tight, you will have to look for a missing o-ring.

No had a look above the triple tree yesterday - no oil up there.  Has to be a seal. :-(

Has to be the seal, I think. Goodness only knows why it decided to start leaking in the hallway in the middle of winter with nobody near the bike! :confused5:
