Neal, so what you're saying is only the strokers came with oil coolers, so that's why Don's bike has one? :confused5: :huepfenjump3: :huepfenlol2:

(Told ya I was gonna have fun with that one!)

No no no no no. He says that if you stroke them carefully the oil cooler will erect itself from its hiding place.

That just seems wrong......

never mind

This is the cooler tank itself.  Not bad for a non-chrome covered unit :2vrolijk_21: .

good news there is a chrome cover for that one

Thanks.  With the filter and lines in place could not see the line nipples.  Given their location something like that is what it had to be though.  The filter housing on this one is already chrome too :2vrolijk_21: .

mine routes from the tank forward... but the cooler looks the same  :nixweiss:

That's a decent looking cover.  Thanks for the data.

That white script on black against the black regulator surrounded by the black frame isn't a bad look though.  Aside from a couple covers to hide the oil and vent lines back in the tranny interface area I'm not planning to hang a bunch of extras on this one.  I like the slightly more exposed and spartan appearance.

Don't know whether its old or lazy or just what I've gotten too used to in the last three years but I am going to check out the cost of a hyrdaulic clutch kit.  I may have become a hydro-wuss.

Crap, that was just not fair.  I just say that I'm appreciating the black versus silver contrasts in the oil filter boss/oil cooler area and not interested in hanging tons of extra doo dads.  Then I check the link Neal provided to that oil cooler cover on eBay and it' some guy selling it brand new for 12 bucks!

Twelve bucks!!

I'd put chrome on my dog if I could get it for twelve dollars....

Hmmmm.  That could be a vision quest.  Or at least a research project.

Obvious 01 addition would be the CD changer.  But I was never wild about that CD deck.  And the chopped tour paks don't have too much room to begin with.

Ok guys, what changed from year to year?

The CD changer never worked worth a chit on my 01 SERG.  Skipped at every opportunity.  Had it replaced twice under warranty - but never worked well enough to the point that I used it...

For others I've replaced those springs and suspension kits for those a couple of times.  Remember them always being problem children.  I have a living parent.  Don't need more problem children :huepfenlol2: .
