Knife
« on: April 24, 2005, 10:50:37 AM »

I picked up a new knife the other day. I'm not sure this is even available at your local HD dealer, I got it from a Matco distributor. Its a Fred Carter design, stainless steel blade with a Cryoedge treatment and titanium handle. The knife has a mirror finish that has a look much like the lenses on a set of Oakley sunglasses.

Check it out.

Reo

I have one of those in the knife collection.
I think it's cool looking!

And Eagle 49
It being cool looking may have been his point.  I'm guessing!

First point: yes I think it is cool

Second point: I wasn't sure if everyone was aware of its existance and even if it was available at the Harley dealers.

Sorry if you weren't as impressed with it as I was.

Speaking of 'investments' and limited editions 'holding their value', the knife may be better than the CVO's. [smiley=brood.gif]

Reo

Have never seen one of those in a Harley shop.

Got mine at Smokey Mountain Knife Works in Gatlinburg, Tenn.

FYI,, delete the spaces between the name and add .com to the end and your there.
Great place, found my 100th anniversary knife there. And it was cheaper than the Harley shop and e-bay.
