I'm a Newbie II

Greetings all

I am being led here by my better half, her name is lovemyharley.  I have been told you do not bite so thats a good thing.  We have a 2005 Ultra Classic a bit on the red side.  Attached is what our bike looked like when I first spotted it.  We live in a little out in the middle of nowhere, a new housing track actually, between Sacramento and Marysville, California called Plumas Lake.  We purchased our bike in Phoenix AZ where we lived at the time and have made the trek to Sturgis a couple years ago and plan once again this year.   My job pulls me away from home during the week forcing me to try and catch up during the weekend.  Am home for a couple days due to a cold that has made me cough up a rib, so am hoping a couple extra days off makes it calm down so I can clear my throat without the pain making me jump through the roof.  Hoping to hear from you all...

Welcome from Nor Cal (Sacramento).

I have a friend that lives in Plumas Lakes that does the AHDRA Harley drag racing circuit....I know exactly where it is.  Can't tell you what he's riding......he has four or five and changes them more often than anybody I know....but he's into the go-fast thing.

You'll like this site.....a lot of info here and a lot of good people, too.  There are a number of members here from Nor Cal that get together and do weekend rides, often.  We're riding to Death Valley and back on April 12 and 13 if you're not busy that weekend and don't mind some long hours in the saddle.

coughed up a rib, now THAT'S bad!  It's a terrible reason to be home but by the sounds of it that's where you prefer.  Thanks for finding us and I hope to meet up with you some day.  Only problem is one of us has to ride 3,000 one way to do it.   :cherry:
