Number one is time, Number two is UV exposure. I put the bike out on the back slab all day yesterday and all day today. I also put a small heater blowing across the back fender which helped the donut lift out completely. I think it will just take time with all of the build that is there. I just hope it doesn't get mucked up while at CHL if it isn't cured by then.
I'll be setting it outside in the sun as often as possible.
Years ago when I had my first custom paint done, the painter called me and said it was all done, come check it out.
When I got to the shop he told me it was out back - 'settin in the sun'.
When we went out to look at it he almost dropped, all the paint had "pulled" and was very screwed up.
We brought it inside and he told me he would see me next week.
Hung around for a while, had a
or 2 and after several hours the paint looked it does in the second picture.
It actually looked like the snake had real snakeskin, it was cool and I kept it that way.
