Hoist,

Do you find the Fatcats to be pretty hot?  I mean sometimes I think I'm getting 2nd degree burns from the things!  I like the way they sound though.  Thanks, Dean.

Do you or anyone else have an idea why it would be running so hot? :nixweiss:

Was the bike tuned to your exhaust?  If not, you took a lean engine and made it leaner (and therefore hotter).  You need to lower the AFR.  Or are you just sensitive to heat.  Try riding without shorts and flip flops and see if that helps.  :pepper:

Just heard from Sergio of Cobin. Like I said, that guy at least follows up and has been helpful. He mailed me a wiring harness Priority mail today for the seat heat. He said the new rubber bumpers will make the rear 1/2"-3/4" higher in the rear, til it breaks in. Not so sure on that one though. I pushed it down in the rear to get the seat bolt caught and cranked it down. I'll see next time it comes off if it conforms any better, but it's mounted fine now. I'll see if the new foam and reshape did the trick for me. Can't seem to get time to ride her right now, seeing that it's Joy weather and all!!! ;) ;D :huepfenjump3: :huepfenjump3: :huepfenjump3:

FWIW my Corbin's rubber bumpers have worn into my clear more than I thought they would. I am considering something like a 3m clear tape to put down to protect the paint. Not sure where to get something that which I'll be able to remove safely in the future. The clear is a lot easier to fix than the color.

Good luck. Let us know what you think. BTW if you get a chance can you post the seat width at it's widest portion? Thanks Bro  :2vrolijk_21:

GH,

I ordered the 3M paint protection film directly from 3M.  I got a rediculous deal on it.  Here is the link...  comes back off very easy...
