I feel I should jump in here and state that having seen Cybil II in person, it is indeed a wonderous machine. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but I honestly believe that anyone laying claim to having H-D 50 weight in their blood would be hard pressed to say that this bike is not a thing of beauty. Howie offered it up for a ride and if not for a ton of company to which I was playing host, he might well be still wondering if I was going to bring it back. I would have loved to have taken it out onto Rt 114 and just blasted around the lake on it. While Howie and I have in the past disagreed and will do so in the future, we are in agreement that his current ride of choice is indeed sweet.

I couldn't agree with you more B B. I rode her before she was steroidally remodelled and I have to say she was as sweet as a sweet thing with sweet written on it.

Was the bike tuned to your exhaust?  If not, you took a lean engine and made it leaner (and therefore hotter).  You need to lower the AFR.  Or are you just sensitive to heat.  Try riding without shorts and flip flops and see if that helps.  :pepper:
I did have it tuned to the pipes.
I wish you would have told me that a couple of months ago!!! :huepfenlol2: :huepfenlol2: :bananarock:

TODAY'S UPDATE:

Got a decent ride on Cybil today, and got to check out the reworked Corbin seat. About 300 miles, 2 hours each way to the Hill Climb. Not a real test, but they seemed to have reshaped it properly for me. Doesn't seem to dig into my thighs anymore. Wasn't itching around with the monkee butt either. And it was in the upper 90's today. I know 2 hours isn't much, but I was very used to the original one, and knew everything that bothered me about it. Didn't notice any of it today! So far I'm glad I sent it back. I guess I'll know for sure after MV!!! :2vrolijk_21:

The red bike's seat got me much as you've described Cybil's getting you.  Early on sent it back for their "nose job" after describing to them what and where it was gettng me.  Came back and has been great ever since.  They seem to know what they're doing there.  A few of us with the SEEG seats have had a similar positive experience with the re-work.

TODAY'S UPDATE:

Well the Corbin still sucks! Sending it back again for 1 last try. If they can't get it right, up for sale it goes. I'll have to use my regular RK Sundowner for the trip to MV! Binx can't take that Corbin at all anymore! Communicating with them seems to be like talking to aliens! Not optimistic at this point, but I'm willing to give it one more shot. Otherwise, FTH, I'll go for a smooth HD Sundowner for Cybil!

But on the brighter side, Cybil's tune was tweaked on Fri!!! Decel pop is gone in 99% of the places! 100% WOT was tweaked too! The bike runs great now with just a SERT (no PC on top). She'll be staying like this for awhile now! I'm very happy with the tune now! We spent another 6 hours on this. The last 2, after I became familiar with the trends we were seeing, Bean allowed me to come up with the changes to make to the map, after each pull! We discussed the changes to make and went back and forth til we were satisfied we got her the best she can be! No less than 105 REAL ft-lbs at 2750 RPM, all the way to redline, peaking on this Dyno (not a Dynojet, add approx 10% for Dynojet numbers!) at about 116 at 4 grand and holding that close between 3500-4500. Same HP too! Very smooth now at all RPM's! She ran great coming home from ME yesterday! I hope she holds this way for awhile now!!! :2vrolijk_21:

Howie I am sold on my Saddleman Explorer seat with Saddle gel went 1500 miles last week and no sore butt it's also the back seat of choice for all the ladies that have checked it out. Here I thought it was my winning personality or good looks.

That is outstanding at those speeds.  Does your seat of the pants tell you the top end is back?

It appears to be as strong as before, but much snappier now that it's not overly rich like with the PC. We spent a lot of time at WOT from 2750 to 5500! I think it's good now, and as good as this build will get! :2vrolijk_21:

Taking her in for another dino oil change before MV in a few. So far she's loving that stuff! 15 psig at idle at all ambients, even after 2 hours (150-160 miles) between gas stops! I see no reason for that syncrap if I'm changing it every 2000-2500 miles! ;)
