Just got my bike back today. I did change the setup though. I ended up installing the HD race pack, big sucker breather with my monster ovals and V&H true duals and had the bike put on the Dynojet to get the best tuning. Here is the results after dyno.

Before tuning  =    Tune_002.dlf  Max power = 54.90      Max Torque =  67.36
After   tuning  =    Tune_014.drf  Max Power = 73.48      Max Torque =  83.42

This is a big gain in horse power and torque. Love the look, deeper sound and its not too loud. The throttle response is crisp, now all I need is a good road test.

Ride hard - Be safe

Beeperman,

What bike do you have these on?  Good increase in numbers but you must not have a Screamin Eagle.  I'm assuming either an 88" or a 96".

The 110s on the SE bikes is rated at 115 lb ft at the crank.  Even if you had a 20% loss to the rear wheel, you should be over 92.  -To me, something doesn't sound right.  ???

Its a 96 ci 2008 Road King, I just got in from riding but didn't get to put about 40 miles on. Worth every penny, well satisfied so far.

RedDevil,

You might change your mind after you hear these "Bad Boys"!!   :huepfenjump3:

Just giving you some crap.  Take care!

Zeb

I'd love to hear them.   I'll bet the sound nice, but I'm very happy with my Ovals, and can think of other things to add to the bike to spend the $600 on.  ;)

Received my V&H Monster Ovals today and got them installed.  Easy install, about an hour.  Made changes to the V&H Fuelpak and she sounds absolutely fantastic!  Very pleased with the sound and looks!

Those look great.  I really love the way the FatCats make the bikes run.  But I still miss the look of duals and oval mufflers.  Those are some of the best looking ovals I've seen.  Really really nice.

They look 100% better then the SPO's do as monster ovals.  I do like the looks, especially with the chrome end caps.  I think if the black end caps were used, people might mistake them for big Rhineharts.  :confused5:

Just saw this on the Vance and Hines site.  Should be coming to a dealer soon.  They look like they could really be trick looking Monster Ovals:

I now have about 100 miles on the monster ovals and I don't kow if I'm keeping them, they really look good and sound nice at cruising speed but going thru 1,2,and 3 gets old after awhile as does speeds over 70 MPH.
