I put in a set of Triple Plats today (P) with a set of 10mm wires.

I gapped them @ .040

THe bike runs wll, I would love to say it runs different, but well you know the story. The Dyno will tell....

When I set mine, I was setting them @ .38.
If you noticed, there is a trick to setting them. They are not ordinary. :2vrolijk_21:

Just checked my spark plugs.  On each bike I definitely use two.

Sort of on topic. Picked up some SE plugs a while back and on installing them I noticed the reach was about 1/8 " greater than the stock Serk 3 plugs. Did not put them in as  I had visions of the piston tightening the gap somewhat.  ::) They are SE EX12P, does anyone use these? Called dealer and they said go ahead but did not sound like they were sure. :nixweiss:

The SE EX12P is all I run in my 103 build.  IMHO, they make a considerable mid-range performance difference and a noticeable difference in quick starting in extremely hot weather.  The extra length and "starter" thread position is probably the difference in that the indexing of the actual spark is about 90 degree's closer to the center of the combustion chamber than the standard plugs.  You may want to check the indexing if you've gone to an aftermarket head.

Ask Brian (BLM).  He'll tell you that treasing him a little was an E-lective choice :drink: .

Oh my goodness.  If your "angles" are off center when you "index" the Mrs has her work cut out for her....  ???
