My baby has a birth certificate.

Is this normal for a 1st owner, getting a certificate of origin?

I’ve never had a new bike before, but in New Jersey with cars and trucks you only get a “title” when ownership is transferred.

Anyway, the certificate came in a nice leather folder.

Thank your dealer for that item. I've bought several bikes in the past that I was given a plack stating similiar info and that the bike was "custom built"(?) for me. It was a little dealer extra I'd recieve a day or two before I got the dealer satisfaction survey from the MOCO.......hmmm

I have main posted in my trophy room. So I did appreciate their goodwill jesture. [smiley=laugh.gif]

The box it came in had a Milwaukee return address (generic label) . There was also a pre-printed thank-you card from the dealer in the box. So I am not sure where it came from, but it is nice.

I got one of those for the 2003 Road King Classic I bought but not one for the SEEG. I think it all has to do with the dealership because I bought these bikes from different ones. Wish I had one.

Congratulations Porthole for shopping at what would appear to be a great dealership. You better thank them for being so thoughtful to you. I got one too, and it is special.  There were discussions about this a little bit ago, I will provide the links if more of you would like to see others who got this special recognition from their dealerships for buying such a very special bike. It is a very nice touch.
