beautiful country! I rode up last week and did the little dragon, coulterville, hwy 49 to jamestown, tullock lake back to our little place (full of weeds) in la grange and back home 700 miles round trip. My goal was to do past due yard work but i rode around instead. :bananarock: The california gold country is some of the best riding in the west,Scenic sierra nevada mountains great roads in all directions, lots of historic little towns to visit. Every person who lives in this area has a harley. the guy that films this is standing right in front of my place

I have to agree with Vanamal it doesn't get much better as far as beautiful day rides in every direction in the Sierra's. I have to agree with JC also.... I had to work yesterday or I would be ina few of those pic's. I think I took my sweatshirt off around 8:30 am ,dang that sun anyway. Only other coment I thought I might add is where were all the CVOs on this sunny but not too hot of a Saturday ?  I'll be ready for this coming weekend ride to DV on my SESG (screaming eagle street glide)....CVO mine  :orange:  :2vrolijk_21:  Jon

It's not too often you see a town's population match the elevation!

It's not too often you see a town's population match the elevation!

I'm thinkin that might be possible in more than a couple of those little gold mining towns up in the foot hills.  But that's about to change......saw on the news that Calif. is having it's second gold rush since the price of gold has gone up so much.  Some people are quitting their regular jobs and going to the hills and investing in a small fortune in dredging equipment and staking their spot on one of the many rivers.  And it's not just men, either....they interviewed several women, too. :nixweiss:

We used to pan at the Russian river...Pan, drink, smoke, eat, nap...
Boy that water is cold up there...

A little warmer here.
