got home this morning and getting settled back into reality..... i can say that the last 8 days have been a complete blur it all startes about 2300 miles ago leaving MA and heading for the valley 2 days and 9 states and a trip through the dragon we ( me and my brother ) arrived, we quickly checked in and joined the others that were already there at Arf's for dinner
thur we joined DJW's group and returned to slay the dragon again it was a wet ride back to the valley but dinner and drinks awaited to warm us up by this time most everyone had arrived
friday we went to the wheel through time musem where Dale gave us an incredible tour i could have stayed there forever listening to the details of every bike. after that we chose to put our feet up and have one day with no riding before heading back out on the road again
sat brought some pretty serious weather which caused us to alter our plans no longer were we going to head east to vist or friends in carey NC instead we went back west to 81 and headed north toward york PA, but mother nature didnt let us off the hook in and out of the rain all day......
sun we took advantage of some rare sunny weather and spent half the day on the Blue ridge parkway and skyline drive before heading to york to meet back up with the otheres coming up from the valey
mon the factory tour plus CVO tour and the over to laugerman's h-d to get some unscheduled work done, 2 wires to the front injector had broken off we finnaly hit the road about 1:30 and called it quits in danbury CT
tue back on the road by 6 and home by 9 then off to work
it was an inredible journey and would have been worth it just to meet everyone even if we hadnt done everything else that we did. it was hard to say good bye to everyone saturday it felt like i was leaving 50 close friends behind not knowing if or when i would have the opportunity to see any of them again
i still cant be sure if I have all of the names going to right faces but i definately have some memories that will last a lifetime
