I have a pair I was going to put on my Ultra but went with the PC111 instead, $50 plus shipping for anyone that wants em.

Are they sold by the pair (one for each O2 sensor)?  If so, I'll take em!  Send me a PM with your address and I'll send a check.  I'll add $5 for shipping.

Sold to the man with a striking resemblance to Larry Bird.

Any body know if these are available from any of the aftermarket parts cataloger's (Drag, Custom Chrome, J&P ect)?

You can make them yourself for about $12 if someone tell you the actual resistance value on IED.  The most expensive part is the connectors.  Make sure use Ultra High Precision resistors, solder it well and put shrink tube on it before connecting to connectors.  :2vrolijk_21:

I think they have a section on the nightrider page that gives you the info to make your own.

Update:
I just checked, looks like they pulled it off the site, just have the ones they sell.

Got my Road King CVO 2008 today (international with exhaust valve and catalysts). I had the O2 XIED's installed immediately and intend to keep it stock the first few K km's. I haven't revved it past 3.500 - 4.000 rpm or full throttle but it goes like stink. With 120km at 3.000 rpm in 6th it accelerates smoothly to 160km at 4.000 rpm. No strange noises, decelaration popping  or fuel smelling exhaust gases, cylinder heads too hot to touch though. Dealer didn't know the XIED's and wants the bike on the dyno and O2 to check the effects at the first service. :) Will post picture as soon as possible.

The reviews here, although there are not a lot of them, convinced me to order a set of the XIED's today. If they work it's a very in-expensive fix.

Please be sure to let us know what the AFR is with the IED's when your dealer puts your bike on the dyno.  Better yet, post your dyno sheet showing the AFR.

Made various trips totalling 250 miles. CVO Road King 08 stock except for XIED's. Experience with XIED's: immediate starting, when cold a bit rough in the lower rpm range. Can hardly imagine needing more power for touring. Torque might develop more evenly but I think that has to do with close and open position of the active exhaust valve that is stock on international models and situates max torque a bit higher in the rpm-range. No signs of overheating, idle on the tachometer down to 850/900 rpm. Full throttle response should be more different from partial throttle, but in the full-open position the ECM operates in open-loop so the XIED's do not have any effect. Keep fingers crossed. :)

Hello guys, I am a newbie to the forum and also to CVO's. I have a Screamin Eagle Springer that should be here next week. It is completely stock. Do I need xied's on it? What all will I need to buy/do to this bike to make it enjoyable and keep the engine safe? Any info will be appreciated...Thanks :2vrolijk_21:

The XiED has an AFR of 13.8:1

Has anyone tried the other two options?  The X14iED (14.0:1 AFR) or the O2 IED (14.2:1 AFR)?

This is not intended to be little any product but I think people should make sure to understand exactly what the Xied's are doing.  As advertised they "globally" richen up the area of the fuel map that is in closed loop.  This means it will work on the newer bikes up to 70% or 80% MAP.  It is doing nothing for the area above 70%  or 80% MAP which would be roughly 1/2 throttle to wide open.  Having said this and tuned a lot of newer bikes when getting the VE tables correct in the closed loop area it is not always just add fuel.  In most cases there is an area where fuel needs to be added and an area where fuel needs to be taken away to calibrate the VE table to a known AFR value.  With the Xied's, the area where the fuel needs to be removed for VE calibration does not happen and these areas get richer.  This can have a very negative effect on some bikes and not such a noticeable effect on others.  My point is that while the Xied's do what they are supposed to do this is not tuning your motorcycle.  Yes, I am sure they cool donw the motor at idle.  The bottom line is you have spent a lot of money on a CVO Harley why not get the bike professionally tuned so that the bike runs great and smooth throught the entire RPM range and not just in certain areas.  If you have never riden a professionally tuned bike you really have no idea what you are missing.

I had a set of IED's on my 07 SEUC they worked as advertised by Nightrider,These only function during the closed loop phase which in my case was about 85 percent of the time, The AFR on my 07 during open loop was in the low 14s stock which was fine with me, it is very rare that I needed to get above 4,000 rpms during most driving.

If you have a near stock bike and are only seeking better drivability, and Reduced Engine Temperatures. These might be fine. I swapped the Ultra for a SERG 09, the IEDs are not compatible with the 09 ECM, they will work on any 07 or 08 if any one is interested I will ship them to your doorstep for $44.50

If anyone is interested I had the Xied's on my 2008 and they worked great.  They do not work on my 09, so if anyone wants to buy them let me know.
