Now we wonder where will it end on the downside.  Much better than on the rising side.

Ain't that the truth. Wonder how those that ran out and got rid of their SUV's and took a beating are feeling now that gas is going down.

Evidently they still haven't seen the current price, we had a guy that was willing to take a $26k beating on a trade of a Tundra 4X4 yesterday.

I believe people see this as a temporary downturn in gas.  Not sure, but I think that gas will stay down as the the overall economy for the foreseeable future......maybe 6 to 12 months at a minimum .

Wow!!! I just adjusted how I used my SUV then take the initial beating and the years it would take to recoup that loss. It was much easier for me to leave it parked, and coordinate outings to include multiple tasks. I'd much rather not have a car payment and make adjustments.

My motto is "good credit is better then good sex.... it lasts a lot longer". After saying that I'm not going to spend more then I earn or can pay back in a month. Only way I'll spend more is earn more, and due to present situation I'm just happy to have a job. :nixweiss:

I'd normally agree...but I am stretching the family credit line on stuff I see not being readily available in the near future, or if you can score a deal that mitigates the credit line

I wish we were at my next duty station now, wanna get the wife a new vehicle and there are some screaming deals right now

I think that big oil pretty much runs the economy of the country. Now that the
price is down you will start to see the economy get better but it will take a few months
of low prices to see any real change. It will take some time before people realize
they have extra money in their pocket after they fill up the tank. Then they will start
to spend more money on other things. Then the economy will get better. IMO.

Per litre would be $1.29 US.  So $5.86 per US gallon, yikes. :nervous:
