Another of Mt. Whitney just before we turn off Hwy. 395 and head down into the big hole in the ground called Death Valley  (we're still at 3,733 feet here)........

We had a great ride........rode on into Beatty, Nevada and stayed at a hotel and casino where there was a parking lot full of bikes from San Diego.

Camera battery was dead by the time we got there and I didn't take the charger.

We left this morning and headed south on Hwy. 395 to Lake Isabella (another beautiful ride!) and on into Bakersfield then up Hwy. 99 back to Sacramento......approx. ten hours in the saddle at 80 and 90 mph.   Great ride and great company and we look forward to the next one! :2vrolijk_21:

JC, great pic's.   Brings back memories of last September when we rode through Death Valley and up 395.  Was snow at that time as well.  Great roads and we plan to take some in again coming home from Sedona.

the pics looked great, cant believe that the snow is almost all gone in Tahoe... I guess Memorial Day skiing is out of the question this year.
