Why take the easy road?  I prefer to come
to a stop slidin' in sidways, hangin' on
for dear life, just so I am able to say;
"Man what a ride!"

Striker,

In a way I could be lucky that is is not a CVO Color, as they are a Numbered Limited Edition build, not knowing how long the CVO painted parts take to manufacture.

Because it is the 03 Annivesary Gunmetal Blue, it may be as long as 6 - 8 weeks to get the painted parts. And you have to return the parts to HD.

To get the damage fixed ASAP I am not really concerned in regards to 03 Anniversary Paint Scheme as I do not consider the Anniversary paint sheme or year of bike to be really a Collectors or Numbered Item, as they manufactured a chit load of 03 Annivesary Paint Scheme Bikes, even extending the 03 Model Year by a Quarter. However, I would guess that the lowest production numbers would have been the Road Glide in Gunmetal Blue.

What my plans are is to buy a new Inner Fairing to Frame Mounting Bracket (2005), 2005 Road Glide primered body parts and follow the Paint Scheme of the 04 Cobalt Blue & Black SEEG. So it will then end up as an 03 Frame Road Glide c/w 05 Body Parts and Windshield.

That is the plan for now, but who knows plans have a way of changing.

My Insurance Company advised to go ahead with repairs, damage to bike was Canadian  $12,850.
