That's it.  Thx 2ln.  For now, removing mufflers and using 36mm sockets with a breaker bar on one side and a TQ wrench on the other is all I can figure.

Duane........alternate route was awesome..........until I got on the Merritt.  Connecticut Statey pulled me over near Stamford.  Said I wasn't supposed to be driving on the Merritt while pulling a trailer.  I meandered through Stamford, got on I95 and headed north.  Merritt was much nicer and smoother than "Hell's Highway."  No damage tho'.  I knew that commercial vehicles aren't allowed on the Merritt, but he said there are signs which indicate trailers aren't allowed either.  Guess I missed 'em.  Oh well.

So, you came up with your best good ole' country boy from Alabama southern charm drawl and schmoozed him into letting you go?

Actually he was cool about it.............or he took notice of the Alabama plates on my truck and trailer and just knew the driver was a few fries short of a happy meal.  I honestly had no idea why he pulled me over until he told me.  Now that I have the refs you provided, I'll know better for the return trip.....despite my heritage.   ;D

I think it was a T-50 or T-55 Torx I needed when I installed the V&H Big radius on the Deuce...the problem was It had to have a long shank to reach in to the peg...going from memory here but I didn't have one at the time.

I'll put this in the garage when doing maintenance, need a level bike for 2 of the three fluid checks.

Duane do you like that stand better than the Condors? I was looking at one yesterday and its a little over half the price of a condor, wondered if they were any good.

I've got two of those same stands.  In the trailer and on the lift.  Can't compare as haven't used any other.  Speaking to it on its own it's been just fine and easy to use.  I remember first couple of times using had to learn the "feel" to easily pull the bike out of it when done; and had to get used to the feel driving the bike in to it as it lifted the front tire.  But those were/are minor things.  It's nice to drive the bike in and climb off without having to think about anything else or reach down for a wind up wheel chock.

Yes, cheaper and takes up less room, and, two acorn nuts and the chock is out of the trailer leaving only a flat metal plate.

And as you can see, it holds the bike up fine just as the picture shows it. Now granted, I wouldn't leave the bike like that overnight!. If the front tire show go flat it would probably fall over, and Murphy's law says it won't fall to the left

If I had a lift I would probably use the "clamp" style front chock.

Thanks guys for the feed back, I just bought another Condor the other day, think I will pick up a couple of these and give them a try  :2vrolijk_21: Im going to get the ones that dont include Murphy's Law  :huepfenlol2: :huepfenlol2:

Oh Duane you need a lift, there should be a new law, If you work on your motorcycle you must own a lift  :orange: I have had my Handy for over 10 years one of the best things I ever bought. Black widow makes a good lift table too. Another quick and easy one http://www.cyclelifts.com/

The lift is on the things to get when I can do it.

Even my wife thinks it is a good idea, as we can you it for grooming the dogs.

I use two of the Bike Pro chocks. I have three plates in the trailer, 2 staggered and one in the center.  Just move them as needed.
Bike Pro also has a floor plate so you can use it in garage, Adds some stability instead of using it "bare" like I do.

Yeah, and it makes a great table on which she can place spring plants prior to planting them in the gardens.   :huepfenlol2: :huepfenlol2:  Effect is even better when she does that on the same day you finally get your long awaited lift.   :huepfenlol2: :huepfenlol2:

I saw that picture - she has her own shelf - work bench (2 x 8) in the shed just for that purpose. But right now she couldn't get anything on said shelf :nixweiss:
