Ladies and Gentlemen,

  Ol' Hub's been down a while, due to a complete Right Side Hip Replacement, performed on my Birthday, 3/25/08.  Then, on Tuesday, 4/22/08, as a direct result of my HARDHEADED overconfidence in my recovery, I knocked it out of socket, and had to start my recovery process all over, from ground zero.  BTW, my tongue can't express the extent of that pain!  Long story short, I'm back at day one.  I appreciate all the support from Big Brian, Fired00d, OTIS, and Unbalanced, and express my sincere gratitude for all the Prayers from everyone else.  Looks like it will be a while before Ol' Maudie gets dusted again, as I am restricted from riding for a minimum of 2 Months.  Again, thanks for all the phone calls, Prayers, and concern from all my Friends here.  Later--HUBBARD

Hubbard sorry to hear about the set back. Go easy and keep your chin up. I hope the Doc is hooking you up with some good CHIT to help ease the pain.

  Glad to hear you have some new high tech, high performance parts to replace your abused and defective stock parts...     Now you need to take good care of them!  Hope you have learned your lesson and now play by the rules so no further invasion of your innards is required by those in white uniforms and masks who require serious $$'s for their services....  If the preservation of your hard earned $$'s is not enough motivation to be good, I am guessing the pain associated with your tendancy towards hard headedness will be sufficient now that you have been harshly remimded...     Looking forward to reports of your exploits from the race track in the near future...

I had rotator cuff surgery about 2 years ago, 8 weeks of my right arm strapped to my side oh I was about to go crazy. Then the doc let it loose and had me start hangin and swangin it, not to bad thought the worst was over. Thats when he said its physical therapy time. Sent me to this little gal about 5'2" she said lay down on the table and I will be easy and try not to hurt you too much. I thought ya right you hurt me, well after about 30 seconds of her I was hollering calfrope, I give and trying to tap out  I ended up calling her the Queen of Pain, she said your not the first person that called me that and laughed. She said take your time and do what I tell you and when I tell you and it will be fine. I did she was right and damn its good as new now. Dont rush it and listen to them. Good luck and I hope the best for you

Mi amigo Carl....I heard iwhen we were in Daytona that you were having a problem in your hip but I didn't know that you were going to have a surgical operation.

Thanks to God that you are ok. You will be in shape again very soon. Meanwhile my thoughts and prayers are with you......Please take care and see you in MV in a few months......

Welcome back Carl, you've gotta quit swinging from the chandlier's for while and let it heal up. Yeah right.

Glad to hear you're on your way to recovery and you'll be back on the pavement before you know it. Watch out for the queen of pain though, I had a male PT after some ankle surgery and he looked like something out of the dark side of the WWF.
