Once the stock map is gone it is gone unless you get a dealer to reinstall it with the digital technician.

From what I have read and been able to understand if I install the SERT and change the values in the Air/Fuel ratio table that now read 14.6:1 to 14.5:1 or less, then the ECM will go into open loop and no longer rely on the oxygen sensors for any feed back.  Is this a correct assumption???  :nixweiss:

And if the oxygen sensors are no longer being relied upon for any feed back to the ECM can I eliminate them from my new Rinehart pipes??? Which is what I want to do  :2vrolijk_21:

Or if I eliminate them will I still need something like Dynojets O2 eliminator plugs to keep from getting a check engine light.

I'm thinking if the computer is in open loop and no longer looking for any feedback from the O2 sensors it won't know that the O2 sensors are not there and set the check engine light, unless of course theres some kind of engine start up diagnostic procedure the ECM goes thru and that will set a light if no O2 eliminators are installed.  :confused5:

Thx

.

This MAP is with the SERT not the SuperTuner :

Calibration # 104: 2008 Touring Exhaust with O2 Sensors
Configuration: 1800 SE A/C & Race Exhaust
File Name: 200UI001-A0.MT6
Components:
• SE Air Cleaner and Breather Kit P/N 29440-99C
• Race Exhaust

I think that it's similar to the 202UJ002 with the Super Tuner.

Yes, if you set the AFR to anything other than 14.6 it is in open loop mode.

Yes you can remove them from the pipes but you will need O2 eliminators.  The O2 eliminators are nothing more than a 1meg ohm resister across the 2 wires.  They can be purchase at radio shack for around a $1.00.  The Dynojet ones have a nice connector that plugs in.  If the pipe has the bungs you will also need plug for them.  IMO, just leave the stock ones in and hooked up and you don't need anything.

Hi Sirs
I am from Italy I have bought Softail Custom 2008, just in April I have mounted 80496-07 Screamin' Eagle® Street Performance Slip-On Mufflers - Softail® Shotgun, but immediately I have noticed the bike Backfired on decelerate or hesitate on acceleration and the plugs are not bright white, dealer doesn't told me that could happen, so I have relaized that oxigen/fuel ratio has decrised, in order to solve the problem I have also purcased 29773-02C "screamin' Eagle® Stage I Air Cleaner Kit" and EFI Super Tuner in order to have a pre installed configuration to load into EFI.
Sorry fo so long explaination but due to poor skill of my dealer I would like to be able to verify/suggest what he is going to do for this reason have you got suggested configuration for me?
Thanks a lot for your attention
enjoy your ride

Once the stock map is gone it is gone unless you get a dealer to reinstall it with the digital technician.

So you cant upload and "save" your stock map?

Dis-likes:
1. The units of adjustment are too spread out, for example you can choose .5%, 2.5% or 5% VE as a unit of increment.  I want to be able to use 1% but it is not a selection.  .5 is too little and 2.5 is too much.

Springer-
While the default increments for VE are as you described, you can manually enter any value you choose directly into the table. Not as convenient highlighting multiple boxes and using the increase/decrease buttons, but it can be done. :2vrolijk_21:

That is correct. I believe that is one of the benefits of the TTS Mastertune.
