It's too bad that there is not some independent comparison testing of all these high priced synthetics so we would know more than just opinions. Where is consumer reports when we need 'um?  har!   :drink: spyder

Don't know if it's any better, but they say...."As part of Red Line’s all-new Powersports line, these High Peformance Motorcycle Oils are fully-synthetic formulas specifically created for the high demands of the latest high-revving four-strokes motocross bikes and ATVs, Sportbikes, and V-Twins." Added the "V-Twin" part in there and seem to have taken a page from the MoCo in regards to pricing...

Redline High Peformance Motorcycle Oils 20w50 $11.95/Qt. Last time I got Amsoil it was $9.25/Qt.

I was just wondering....I found a place on the web that sells the Redline Powerpac (5 qts of syn oil, 1 qt Shockproof Heavy, 1 qt MTL, some Injector Cleaner, and some fluff stuff) for $69.95 + $8.95 shipping...http://www.racerpartswholesale.com/product/1826/Motorcycle_Red_Line_Oil_Powerpacks...was thinking about trying the whole kit out and see how it fares....

That's a hell of a deal compared to what the Redline website is saying the cost of a single quart of the new motorcycle oil is. :shocked2:

That's what I thought Gary.  I was hoping someone had tried it, but I may go ahead and be the guinea pig on this.  I figure if their oil is as good as their other stuff, it should be good stuff.  Agree?   :nixweiss:

I definitely like the MTL and Shockproof, and don't see how they could screw up the motor oil. :nixweiss:

Heh, you notice I didn't say I was going to switch to it, just saying I think their other products are good. I'm happy (at the moment) w/using Amsoil in the motor. So hopefully I'm safe from it coming back to bite me in the @$$. :huepfenlol2:

Well, I think I'm going to try it and see...I've been happy with Mobil 1, but Redline seems to make a quality product.
