grc is correct in the formula he presented, approx. 0.5 AFR with 10% ethanol mixture...but I really sat up when he mentioned the other 5% being snuck in without being labelled as a way to oxygenate the fuel. It makes perfect sense, as the alcohol does carry oxygen molecules. If I am correct, the oxygenation of fuel usually only takes place during the winter months. Watch the pump labels, as some stations do carry more of a mix than 10%, our bikes were definitely not designed to be "flex fuel" vehicles...they will definitely make you run hotter, ping like the dickens and give you driveability problems.

Thats what im running into. I just worked on a bike , an 05 dresser with a stage one download. The guy never had a problem with pinging until the 92oct gas here was mixed with ethanol. Now there is a white crust building up on the electrodes of the plugs and it aint oil carbon. looks like he is going to have to put in a race tuner to richen this bike up again.

I switched to Shell V Power, great stuff! Bike seems to run better  on it. Do not know if it contains ethenol though.
