Don, I'm praying for your mom.

Thanks AJ.  She's fine again now.  No diagnosis though.  So who knows :nixweiss:

Have said this before.  So it's not a new thought.  In fact it's a pablum I repeat when it's (all too often) fitting.  But I understand that it is the Medical Arts and Sciences.  I really do.  I just wish that the art part was not so often finger painting.

Don,
Glad to hear the house is fixed.  Good thing you're a handy guy.

I'm way more concerned about your Mom.  Did she have an MRI or CT scan?  She honestly should have an angiogram to confirm there is nothing wrong.  My wife spent many years working in an angiogram unit alongside one of the top neurosurgeons in the country.  She has some amazing stories about patients with symptoms similar to your Mom's.  Bad things happen quickly if there is an AVM (arterial-venous malformation), cerebral aneurysm, transient ischemic attack, or tumor.  The best definitive diagnosis is with an angiogram.  I don't mean to be Chicken Little but unless a Neurosurgeon has looked at high resolution images I wouldn't consider her clear.  If not, what was done by the ER staff to rule out any of the above mentioned maladies?

Don,

I don't mean to be Chicken Little but unless a Neurosurgeon has looked at high resolution images I wouldn't consider her clear.

With a little cajoling on my part to get someone in over the holiday weekend there was a neuro consult.  And some greater work up to go along with it.  But I still don't trust it.  Doing more follow up with doc of our own choosing starting the end of this week.

That's easy man.  You go to the store and you get these rolls of this long stringy like stuff with metal type stuff in the middle.  Then you shove it in places and wherever it comes out you make a plug in.  To see if it works you stick your tongue in the hole.  When it's all done it's a shocking success :mango: !

But maybe you can plug the bike into the house like a generator for when you have power outages.  Just put the bike on a rolling device like they use for dyna runs, and have it power a few things.

Don,

Just ran across this, man, I hope everything stays solid for awhile.
You have had some very unfortunate circumstances, lately.
I'm sorry to hear about Mom, and I hope that her problems prove to be minor, so that she can enjoy some good health later.
You and Mom are in our prayers.

Made up for it all today John.  Left mid afternoon for a little ride.  Laptop out right now.  Under the stars in front of some neon lit old 50s era roadside motel.  Stealing someones wi-fi.  Feet up.  Beer out.  Happy as a clam.  It sucks to be anyone else right now.  Nice ride home tomorrow too :2vrolijk_21: .
