So many thanks to Porthole for his posting of my recent incident.  Duane is top drawer in anybody's book who has ever had the pleasure of crossing his path.  For those who don't know, porthole is a fireman and puts his life on the line for those of us in trouble on a regular basis.  And many thanks to those of you who have taken the time and effort to send your best wishes and prayers.  I am finally getting it back together and actually rode my Road Glide a few miles last weekend.  Still taking it slow and easy, but I'm also looking forward to getting my new (new to me anyway) '06 Watermellon I found from another member posting on these pages.  It was picked up today in southern Florida, and I may even lay eyes on her by the end of next week . . . slowly getting pumped!

Good to hear from you and know that all is coming along.  I just picked up on your mishap as I was travelling and missed Duane's posts.

Thankfully as you pointed out you were protected and the closed course most likely didn't hurt, not as many immovable objects to run into.

Great to hear you on here again and that things are progressing.  And as for Duane being one of the great stand up guys that particpate on this great site, you are so very right.  He is.

Glad to hear he is doing well. 
I know the melon purchased from fpopper, he will enjoy it, it is a good runner, cared for and quite nicely pimped out.
