I used to think that Hillary would be be the worst possible person the Dem's could put forward and maybe get elected...NO MORE She's BAD, but Barack Hussein Obama Bin Laden...Folks, THIS cat is dangerous for our country...Our country has been attacked :-[Remember the Marine Barracks in Lebanon, the 1st WTC attack, the USS Cole, and the second WTC attack...crazed Islamic terrorists want to KILL us and I don't want any PANSIES in the White House. Soc Sec, taxes, welfare, and all other issues are moot if we are ridin camels with rags on our heads...So my best choice is McCain...Call me stupid or whatever ya want, but I want my kids and grandkids to live making their own choices not living the choices ordered by some camel jockey!

I still have all of my weapons, gay marriage is not legal in all 50 states, we are not speaking arabic, and it still says In God We Trust on my money, I still say One Nation UNDER GOD, and I am free to practice whatever religion I want, Christmas is still CHRISTmas and it's Before Christ (BC), not Before The Common Era - we still have a viable military, other nations fear us and know if they piss us off, folks like me will ruin their freakin weekend... 

I can list more that gore, kerry, obama and clinton and their elitist environmental wackos and those on the left would have trodden over...and will if given the chance.

Not sure which part of the agenda of the "far left" you might be referencing, but if you are talking about social welfare programs then I have a comment I'd like to throw in here.  I have considered myself a political moderate and fiscal conservative for the last 35 years of my life.  I looked at the programs of the "Great Society" and felt that many were noble ideas that had unfortunate effects, such as creating generations dependent upon entitlements while penalizing those who worked hard for a living.  Like anyone, I was unhappy that my tax dollars were being squandered on "shiftless people out to beat the system", and I welcomed the changes that were eventually made to reduce some of the most obvious problems.  However, looking at what has transpired over the past eight years, I'm ashamed of the way our government has handed the keys to the treasury to the wealthy while abandoning many in need.  If I'm going to be compelled to support someone else with my tax dollars, then by god I want it to be someone who has less than me, not more.

        RE: the sentence I highlighted. This is why I'm asking for someone to step up and show me why they say these things. Your post is a typical right wing rant and not a reasoned response to the honest question I posed. Please spare me the rant (I've heard em for 8 years and am sick of them) and give me an intelligent reply with examples of bills authored, votes cast, legislation signed into law by the "elitist " (Right wing shorthand for smarter than me) "environmental"  (right wing short hand for won't let Dow Chemical build a plant in our town and dump their waste in the river) "wackos" (right wing shorthand for anyone who thinks differently than me)

      If this reply gets you worked up a bit, take a second and ask yourself how you think I may have felt when I was truthfully asking for someone to reply to my question with intelligence, reason and examples and instead got your rant .The days of Coulter and Carville have to come to and end. Why not start on this site. Just you and me agreeing to listen to each other and talking to each other with respect instead of competing for who can toss out the best line of invective.
