Accomodations Sunday night. Sackets Harbor. We picked this time for the nautical feel, quaintness and hoping to get a good seafood meal. 2 out 3 ain't bad - no seafood. But a great little outdoor ice cream stand!

The hotel was nice, $90 for a double (very reasonable, we fully expected given the area that this would be a $250 or more a night place)

This was a neat spot, the original foundation of the house can be seen in the foreground, the old fireplace would make a nice gathering spot

This is in the Niagara area. I tried to convince Glenn to pull the trailer off and go park in front, he wouldn't do it  :nixweiss:

So Monday night we start pulling into hotels - motels looking for a room. All the empty lot places were "booked".

We found this place in the GPS, called them and they had rooms, $45 a night, single bed. We told them to hold two and then did the 1/2 hour in an hour due to a closed bridge.

Colden County Inn

We got there just after 10pm and Mike & Tracey could not have been more accommodaing or friendly. The front bottom section of the Inn is a bar and they were still serving food! A real plus for us. Cold beer, homemade meatloaf and the AC was on in rooms.

As an extra for us, Mike moved some stuff for us and made room in the garage for the two bikes and trailer, what a nice gestures.

The rooms were set like a B&B, this was the main hall on the second floor.

My room - the walls don't look so bad without the flash. It was very comfortable.
