Today it was 89.
We rode out to have dinner and a little 100 mile ride.
Rained like crazy last night.
We try to make about 200 to 300 miles a week just puttering around.

The whole eastern half of the State was covered in smoke from the coastal peat fires today......less than 1/2 mile visibility and 'burning your eyes dense' (code RED).  It's heading your way Silver-Black, unless the winds change.  Break out the gas masks.   :o har!  spyder

They were saying on the local news here tonight that it's a possibility we may get some of the smoke/odor from that fire all depending on how the front moves in the next couple of days. :vrolijk27:

Only problem is surgeon will not let me wear that stuff anymore to much weight on the artificial joint. I'll just have to stay inside and let the AC filter it. ;)

Yeah, the smoke blew outa here up your way......you're a long way from the peat fire, D00d.  It's gonna take a tropical storm, at least, to make any head way with extinguishing that fire it's burning so deep.  :'( spyder

Nope...headed out for a short ride today...11 miles and the skies opened up...came home soaked...but it still was a nice ride!

But the bad side of this is the rivers have finally reached flood stage and lots of folks in the area and just north of here are getting flooded out of their homes...  what a mess...

11 miles, that was a short ride. But I guess any riding is better then none compared to the weather you've been having.

Sorry to hear the rivers have reached flood stage I hope the family is still out of harms way.

Our home is safe, as we are at a high elevation...but my parents, not so much...  But, so far, so good for them...
