What is there to check specifically? I put one on my bike, seemed fairly straight forward. But I had have my concerns, the auto tensioner changed the way the bike rode and sounded.

porthole, on the set up of a new unit the new guy didn't check the primary ,  and it was dry ! no oil from the factory.  that was the resalt .sense it was signed off as done at set up the dealer had to eat the expense.  as far as the dog......he came with the house I'm renting,the land lord came by when i was at work and took him to the vet and groomers and thats what i saw when i got home,  i was pissed!!!  but theirs not much i can do but raze hell. didn't much good .  it's just life and I'm trying to have fun.    axil

Interesting, I didn't know the cam gears were press fit.  How are the gears attached to the gear drive cams?
