MotorCycle friendly radar detectors....
« on: June 12, 2008, 10:27:10 AM »

I have a Valentine One radar detector in my car - and I believe it is the best money can buy.  But, it is not "water and element" proof, so it is not an option for the bike.

What is the best motorcycle friendly radar detector available??   :nixweiss:

Any opinions??   :nixweiss:

I've been looking at this one:
http://www.pashnit.com/product/adaptiv_radar.html

I read a review of this radar detector a few weeks ago that said its weakness was picking up every store alarm and door opener in the area - but the review was a bit dated, so I don't know if improvements have been made.  Does anyone have experience with this model?

I do ride slower than I want to, unfortunately it's still faster than the speed limit.
