I went with amber.  A poor attempt to try and stay in color scheme.  (Red and gold)

The one redeeming value with amber is that it is legal

Have helped several folks install lights on their bikes - usually engine chrome highlight LEDs and usually that looks very good.  An individual preference - not Gold Wing looking with the crazy carousel of color.  Takes a couple of hours or so & now there are LED modules that plug together that makes this process VERY easy.  If you can plug in a lamp and make tape stick and know how to go to the battery with wires positive/ground - you can do it.  $700 is freakin' ridiculous, but it is less than $750....

I did the Custom Dynamics LED strip (brake/runninglights/blinkers) on the back of my leather TP & it still gets a lot of comments as to how visible it is at night.  Did not do engine lights on the jester.

Except for replacing turn signal and tail light bulbs - Never. Never. Never.  Just plain goofy.  Seems to be largely the same people who drive a Civic with a fart-can muffler stuck on the back.

Guess I'll have to go shopping for a Civic  :nixweiss:

OK, a different take on the subject, but here are my LEDs.

The idea behind these are for the marshalling work I do for the breast cancer walks here in Atlanta. The lights were actually donated by the southeast regional rep for Whelen. They are all Whelen TIR3 LEDs synched together and running off of a wireless 'always-on' remote. I put the synch trigger through one of the small holes in the mid section panel behind the motor so the patterns can be changed at will.

I'm tired of getting honked at and flipped off when working the walks and training walks, so hopefully these will make it look a bit more official and the cagers will be a bit more forgiving of some of the liberties we take when working the events.

Don't stare at these suckers, because they're real effing bright.

You really should pick up all the screw drivers and pliers before snapping the photos!  ;D

Nice LEDs.   :2vrolijk_21:

The underside of the tour pak is way too clean, and I don't see any signs of mold....

No time for cleanliness. I had to get these all installed and wired up so we can leave o-dark-thirty tomorrow for Daytona. I wonder if I'll be brave enough to turn these on to help us get out of the speedway after the race on Saturday. :nixweiss:

As demonstrated to me personally, the mold goes in the inside, which isn't obvious until closely scrutinized.
