As demonstrated to me personally, the mold goes in the inside, which isn't obvious until closely scrutinized.

:indian_chief:

Ok.  So it's an INSIDE mold problem.  sounds similar to the dead cat problem, except one is mold & the other is a cat.   ;D

Are those as blinding bright in person as they appear to be?

Hey Chief, they're too cool.  I like 'em, but would get into trouble with them, 'cause I'd use them a lot!  As bright as they are, you're not going to get run over.......maybe cause a problem, but......not get run over.  :2vrolijk_21: har!  spyder

When I was looking at them last night and was off-axis a bit, they're pretty bright. As soon as I got down in the actual beam, they are REALLY bright. I opened the doors of the basement and they were lighting up the trees 100' away.

Last year I had some Street Glow strobes that I got off of ebay. They were pretty neat when it was dark, but were hardly visible in sunlight. I won't have that problem with these. These are the same units that go on police vehicles, around license plates and behind the grills, except they have better colors.  ;)

Since they're white I can't get in trouble for impersonating, but if people draw the wrong conclusion and move out of my way, I won't stop them.  ;)

Do they flash?   if they did around here you would not make it a couple miles before getting stopped in Pennsylvania.  illegal to have flashing lights any color except amber

The 2 times I have been down on my bikes were at night and it was cause the people in cages say they can not see us--by gosh with leds they can not help but see me.

I would doubt anyone would say, Hey I saw you but decided to hit you for the hell of it.  Its not your fault they are stupid, ignorant, drunk, asleep, or distracted.

Those appear to be the same type of strobes that are on our FD staff vehicles. I'll have to take pictures of the Prius I'm driving daily now that I'm assigned to the Fire Marshal's office. I call it my "Emergency Response Hybrid". :) What is funnier then that is to see my long-legged arse get in and out of it. :shocked2: :huepfenlol2:

I'm sure I'll be able to find some volunteer from my fellow FF's to take those pictures. ;D

Oh yea, 15 different flash patterns. I guess I won't be using them in Pennsylvania. Actually they're temporary and will be coming off as soon as the BC walks are over in October. But in the meantime I'll have some fun with them.

Too bad I wasn't here, or I would have used that one.

I did mention to the Fire Marshal today that if the city really wants to go "green" why don't they get me a motorcyle to ride. :sneaky:

They have FD Medics on Harley's...

Why not Fire Marshal's on Harleys? :nixweiss:

Those windscreen strobes look like they'd be distracting to the rider at night.  :-\ spyder

Those windscreen strobes are the same Whelen units I've got. With the long flanges on them, you can't hardly tell they're on unless you can see the lens.
