Not only do I not know what's going on, I wouldn't know what to do about it if I did.

By popular request, and I'll try to be as clean as possible in doing this,

The 7 words you can never say on radio or TV:

1. Chit
2. Pi$$
3. C*nt
4. F**k
5. Mf 'er
6. Cs 'er
7. T*ts

and t*ts doesn't even belong on the list!! It's such a friendly sounding word.  It could be a snack, like try new tatert*ts..bet you can't eat just one. (I know I can't)  -  George Carlin

I'd type out the whole 7 words routine from memory... Yes I have it memorized.  But I'm too broken hearted to get through it.  I always felt better knowing there was at least one individual on the planet who thought the same way I do.  Now I have to hope Dennis Miller gets back on the air.

Well, Since I can't type that much:

Dennis Miller has a segment on the O'Reilly Factor called "Miller Time".  As irreverent as ever.  Not Carlin, but about as close as we have left now.

"In 1991, he provided the narrative voice for the American version of the children's show Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends, a role he continued until 1998."

I NEVER knew this- we have a TON of Thomas stuff, all the trains, a train table, Thomas towels, videos - now I will get a laugh out of it.

I am with you my man....I have not felt a loss like this since Frank Zappa died way to young too.
For me, I find Dennis Miller to be too much of a pompous ass for my tastes, what was that Monday Night Football thing????
I bet GC hated him too...

Peace

Hell yeah, that was the last movie I saw before going to Iraq last year - babbled on about it for weeks.  We've got Optimus Primes, Bumble Bee's, Jet Screams, Blackouts, Scorpinox, Barricade...and on and on.

My kids have it pretty good...guilt from being gone so much.

Use to be my favorite comedian until his atheist views became evident in his routines.

May he rest in peace.

Where ever he is........

-----------------

He came to Erie a couple of years ago, Show started out great then WOW. He became so anti-American, War, government, a lot of us stopped clapping and a few yelled back. I would have left at that point but was stuck in the middle seats,

My prayers are for his family

Worth saying again since there are several posts on this thread about Carlin's politics. Miller was one of my all time favorite comedians until he decided to become a political activist and the worst part is instead of using his own excellent wit and intelligence, he simply regurgitated the daily RNC talking points.

Damn I miss Ronald Reagan and his speechwriters. When RR was POTUS , you could always count on the Whitehouse for your daily dose of humor. And RR was never mean. Remember him during the debates - - - " there you go again " he'd say when the Dem du jour went off on a left wing tangent. Simple line, but with his perfect delivery:  the tilt of his head and the smile, he'd have me rollin on the floor even though I heard him say it 100 times. Ok, I'm off track I guess, but the point is any comedian who lets his political leanings influence his ability to pick on both sides of the aisle loses a lot of his funny quotient and Miller has lost his funny mojo in my book.
