Why would you say that?  They (manufactures) will make anything that people will buy, so are you saying it was such as dismal failure that they would not repeat it?

it is not difficult to make.....so the only thing I see that would stop them is sales numbers.  Makes sense to sell things people want to buy.   or am i missing something?  like SEEG's are sacred? and you do not mess with the Motorcycle God's

No that's not it at all. The product was so good that they introduced a new model (FLHX) the year after the SEEG run. That would be (IMO) what they would make into a SE instead of making another SEEG. This would be pretty much the same bike, but because they do have the FLHX now that would be the SE equivalent of a SEEG.

Plus the thought of that (no more SEEG) makes me feel like mine is really a custom (limited edition) bike. :D

The Electra Glide model has been relegated as an entry level price point now (cheapest bagger) from Harley now.

Actually I would be happy with either.  They really are close to the same.

Fired00d... I agree I would like knowing we have the only SEEGs..

1 - SE Ultra.
2 - SE Roadglide.
3 - SE Springer.
4 - SE Fat Bob.

For the sake of disucssion assume those are correct.  It means I'm safe yet again.  HD hasn't tempted me in a long time.  I don't think they know how to stretch anymore.

1 - SE Ultra--4th year in a row "custom" "unique" with apparently no mftr's gag reflex.

2 - SE Road Glide--The low post company spy report notwithstanding it is two words, not one.  And it won't be better looking than the old ones.

3 - SE Springer--Can't sell all we've made so far; let's make more!!  :huepfenlol2:

4 - SE Fatbob--Yet another model not really designed to ride very far.

Amen to that Gary.  They have used the theme of our paint scheme in several ways.  But I hope they never do our bikes again.  You know whatever came later would be only be a more sedate version of what they did the first time.

BTW - I much rather have my bike in the stripped down version (no tourpak). I love the "Draggin' Bagger" look. :2vrolijk_21:
