When I was still "on the job" I was beign interviewed with the local news media on why most police officers support a private citizen's right to bear arms while most Chiefs of Police do not. I said this to them but they did not get it....

"When seconds count, we're just minutes away!"

Oh by the way, I was never allowed to speak with the press on this issue again. Protect yourselves and your families until help arrives. Seems reasonable to me.

The 5-4 vote is not comforting.  DC people don't have problem with crack smoking mayor but don't want guns at home.  Or should I say those who support armed rubbers don't want a home owner to have gun at home.  What a joke.

It is very scary how close the vote was. Why do they even vote on a constitutional right? Our forefathers are turning over in their graves...
What if-just what if America was invaded? Would they immediately repeal a law banning guns? Would they go door to door and return guns to previous owners? I think the real issue is box cutters, they should ban those...

If you only consider which side SCJ Ruth Bader Ginsburg has voted on/taken in key issues consistently since her appointment to SCOTUS, it does cause one to wonder what the Founders would have to say about that.  One Justice with such a skewed view that it makes ya wonder if "her" copy of the US Constitution is marked through, torn up, & crossed out in all the places she disagrees with?

Oh well, you are a verb now...  "dood'd"

To Get Dood'd - to have your thread moved to another section of the forum.   :coolblue:

Sean
did'ja ever stop to think that "verb" is a noun?    :jack:  sorry

This will all change when/if the howler monkeys take office, because they will probably appoint one or two new SCJ's in the next presidency right?  How does that work?  I thought position would/should not be an issue for SCJ's becuase they are working with "facts" and "precedence" and therefore party affiliation shouldn't be an issue?

oh, sorry, did you hear my sarcasm dripping?  lemme go get a mop..........   I'm so disaapointed with how law works in this country nowdays....  perhaps I should just stay with the humor...

Hey dood!  Did you know that you're a verbal noun!?!?  or is that a nounal verb...   a verbiacle nooner?  awww...   I must need more scotch.......
