My bike has been broken down probably more than most, but only had to trailer it anywhere twice. Once - in a box truck that you know about from Nelson to the East Coast. Once, on the most rickety hand made wooden trailer no side anythings and you know, for that trip it worked. Not my first choice, but it was what was available. I'd hope you never need to trailer it anywhere. And you know you don't need to use the dealer, right? What about a good reliable inde in your neighborhood? And we have folks who will pick up bikes and move them to destination for only $75. The couple of times in a life time that you need it, cheaper than owning anything at all. Just my .02 cents.
