Thunder max
« on: June 30, 2008, 11:09:47 PM »

Has anyone installed their own thunder max with autotune? I've installed a set of D&D fatcats and the thundermax today.  But I can't get the program to load onto my computer.  Setup says everything was installed but when I try to run it, it tells me it wasn't installed properly.  I've now tried this on two computers.
Now the bike starts and shuts right off. Starting to feel like breaking out the hammer.

Try unplugging it , wait 10 seconds then plug it back in. Try that. If that doesn't work, turn the key on,then off again three times. I have the same set up as you & I had to unplug the first time & reboot. I hope that helps. If not, don't force it. Get a bigger hammer. THE MUFFMAN

What makes it worth the money? will it up the HP & TQ? I have been told by TM rep. it will cool the motor down, Does it? With the set up i have now the bike runs pretty good (i guess) ran 112 mph in the 1/4 at Bristol riding 2 up.

Nothing special, V&H True Dual Big Shots with PCIII and Big City Thunder QC Baffels
I stand corrected on the 112, the wife said between 105 and 110, she was looking over my shoulder at the speedo, I was looking dead ahead, i not sure if i ever got it in the big hole (6th gear) or not  :nixweiss: :nixweiss:

bagger at 105 in 1/4 mile, one up, 140 lb rider = 12.2-12.4 seconds.here is one running the 1/8 mile
no offense, but yours would probably run around 85 mph one up!
