Rear Lights in Top Box
« on: July 01, 2008, 05:36:24 AM »

Hi Everyone

I have noticed that the USA spec for the top box is different to the one we get in the UK.

IE: Brake lights and the Screamin Eagle script on the back we just get a plain box!!!

Does any one know weather we can get this, I can't find it in the parts catalogue.

Cheers

Yes. the HDI (Harley-Davidson International) bikes have different specs (no Tour Pak lights, back and side, different mirrors, no garage door opener, and some). Your dealer can order the pre-painted set for the Tour Pak lights using your VIN.

Ride safely,

I also had this situation so i added standard tour pack lights and chrome accent rails. I think the colour coded se version is vin no.
only which isn`t a problem but cost an arm & a leg. HD will not even will not even supply Se paint to match. Our director, OXFORD UK CHAPTER has a cvo road king and added hard panniers & tour pack box which HD would not supply factory fitted even at extra cost so had to order and get them colour matched at a custom painters.  Good Luck

Thanks Cyril and Jacques will follow the link Jacques.

Cyril we are neighbours we also know Neil very well, he has been dealing with my blown up 07 CVO which is been repaired at Oxford.

I would of liked it to be repaired at Cheltenham and my Trade in to be delivered there but the timing wasn't right.

My 08 CVO ultra arrives to day on a lighter note so hopefully will have it all chromed up for the launch party at Cheltenham!! (Colour Canyon Copper)

Let's hope the new bike is more reliable than my 07 although its been a great bike to have!!!! I will miss it.

Speak soon Cyril and hope to meet in our travels?
