Pick away. Ain't much there, so shouldn't take long.  ::) So did you go straight to the Twin Tech and skip Delphi? My buddy went with Tech Twin and I have spend some time working on it. The new version with twin O2 sensors works well.

Actually, The twin tech data module plugs into the data port on the existing Delphi ecm,  It has O2 sensors for analyzing and then it logs data.  I will send it to Dan Thayer and he will tweek the tune for the download to the existing delphi ECM.  Or at least that is how I understood it to work.  At least it will be interesting.

The name of the data logger is Twin Scan II Low Cost Scan Tool. seems like a cool tool.  But you do need O2 port in the exhaust.

Okay, so you didn't go with the full DTT setup. That system you have is similar to a Power Commander, except it uses the O2 sensors. Be curious as to how you like that. Don't know anyone using it.

Actuall, it's called:Twin Scan II+ Tuning Aid for Screamin Eagle® Race Tuner (SERT), Dynojet Power Commander, and Daytona Twin Tec Twin Tuner

You just plug in the module and ride for an hour or so.  as many different conditions as possible.  It stores that info.  It does not stay hooked up after that.  You download it to the computer and the programmer uses that info for a tune. Seems pretty cool.  I'd go with the complete twin tech set up, but there aren't many twin tech gurus here.

Ahh, that's the difference; I just install computers and then train the users. I don't to work on them constantly. Guess that why I still like to tinker with them.  ;)

My buddy had plenty of problems until he found a really good DTT tech here. Now the bike runs awesome. We just check the tables once in a while and make minor adjustments. The new version they have out is suppose to be more of a real ride and tune system.

cvogeo, not sure what you mean by IMHO, but I ride cross country every year, from 12,000 ft in the rockys to the desert of nevada, no isssues, worries, pinging, I did ajust the idle at 9000 ft but other then that(bullit proof)..I never rode a bike with the delphi, but I hear it is the(cats meow)..but for me ,jets at $ 2.50 compaired to a download of a few hunderd,i take the carb,I tried everything poss. to get the m&m to run right, but all it did was fight me and take my coin..MDC..pm me or puzzled ,all H-D parts.. wiring harness,,carb,,pingel petcock conversion kit,coil,..and with the money I made selling the m&m on ebay ,i actually made a buck or 2......ride on-headpan :2vrolijk_21:

Headpan, if I may ask, which carb did you go w/?  Avalable in J&P?  Did you do the conv yourself?  Reason I'm asking is I have a stock serg2 and it's been running like crap since I put hookers on.  I've had it in the shop three times, power commander and all and it still backfires all the time plus the idle is too high around 12 - 13k.

btyner,

I got the Hookers too. My idle is too low....will quit at stop light etc....Thinking of changing to Vance & Hines...just slash cuts or Ovals. Like the sound and hope it might improve performance.

I did the conversion myself..I tried the powercommander,,even took my bike 200 miles away to a tuner.(powercommander) recomended..and just like I thought the day I rolled it off the showroom floor, switched to a carb 2 weeks later :confused5:

Appreciate that info.  I'll start looking around DFW for a mech that can help me make the switch.
