Ernie, someone needs to save examples for history to remember.  We're taking one for the team.  It's posterity!

With all the declines in sales the markup is still all too common.  Wait for the initial surge to pass.  You'll be able to score one at MSRP somewhere.

Give it up Hoist...once a rider moves past the RK all-in-one-bike phase and into the multi-bike Touring & Cruiser phase there is no going comparison!

Sorry, I don't speak new yorker...

...but my personal opinion, which has been kept to myself until now and will be kept to myself after this post is that a RK is a great all around bike if you can have only one bike, that is the one to have...but it does not even come close to the overall capabilities of having both a Full Dresser and a Cruiser.  I got my cruiser in 2003 and got rid of my RK in 2004 for an SEEG and have never looked back.

I might comment back Bill......

That's why there are so many models available. The FD guys are sold on em and that's that. The RK is the perfect touring bike for me. To each their own. But I can give Mike a little ribbing about this. Don't take things so serious man! ;)
